Here is our first guests' reviews of Llareggub
We loved the Beach House, which is in the process of being renovated by David and Anjana, our very welcoming hosts. They clearly have a great eye for getting the best out of a property, and once finished this one will clearly be amazing. So far they have renovated the bedrooms and bathrooms and they are gorgeous.
The rest of the space is in its original 1970s form and although it hasn’t yet received the full magic touch and is a bit rough round the edges, it is light and spacious with incredible views across Saundersfoot Bay and six of us had a delightful stay there. It’s a 5 minute walk into town and the beach there in one direction, and a 5 minute walk the other way to the coast path and a more secluded beach on which dogs are allowed all year round.
We took part in their foraging trip and spent a very interesting morning learning about and collecting coastal plants, consuming them later during an extremely enjoyable evening with our fellow foragers at a pop-up restaurant in the garden of a nearby farmhouse where they were cooked with care and skill by the foraging guide himself, Matt Powell, who is also a brilliant chef.
We had a wonderful few days [staying in all of their properties in Wales], and are looking forward to returning soon.
